Marissa’s Closet — 410 West 24th StreetMarissa Sabatelli is, as she puts it, “A New Yorker, born and raised.” She opened her first business in 2009 in Brooklyn where she grew up, but from the beginning, she had her sights set on a Manhattan store. “I knew Chelsea was going to be good for me,” Marissa said. “There’s so much going on in this area.” The walls in her women’s boutique are lined with racks of clothing in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes. A counter, a centerpiece table, and a display case sport makeup and jewelry items. Simply put, it is a store for women, by a woman.
