Middletown Medical welcomes two new doctors

Middletown Medical has announced two new physicians joining its staff. Esther Argüello Perez, MD, internal medicine, and Kolo Nicholas Ediale, MD, specializing in endocrinology, have joined the team of medical professionals.
Argüello Perez is a board-certified physician specializing in internal medicine and infectious disease. She will treat patients at Middletown Medical’s office at 653 Harris Road in Ferndale.
Ediale is a board-certified physician specializing in endocrinology. He will treat patients with hormonal imbalances and endocrine system disorders, including diabetes patients, in Middletown Medical’s flagship Middletown location.
Argüello Perez completed her internal medicine residency at Jacobi Medical Center and an infectious disease fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, both in New York. Prior to joining Middletown Medical, she worked as a physician in Nicaragua.
Argüello Perez earned her Doctor of Medicine degree and graduated cum laude from Universidad Americana in Managua, Nicaragua. She is licensed to practice medicine in the state of New York, and is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America. She earned a number of awards and recognitions during her education, residency, and fellowship. Argüello Perez is also a published physician, and has been involved with several poster presentations spanning topics including TBI and HIV.
Ediale began his medical career in Nigeria as a primary health care provider and a general medical practitioner, following a medical internship at Jos University Teaching Hospital. Ediale completed his residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in the Bronx, and his endocrine fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, N.J.
Ediale earned his bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery (MBBS) from the College of Medicine at the University of Ibadan in Nigeria.
Ediale joins the Middletown Medical Endocrinology team after spending several years at Catskill Regional Medical Center.
