Great American Weekend brings on the crowds

Unofficial tallies say more people came out to this past Great American Weekend than any other in its glorious 33-year history. Whether or not that's true, the weekend was as much quality as quantity, featuring top flight crafts work and music, yummy food, and rides both thrilling and old-fashioned.

The Goshen Chamber of Commerce on its Facebook page thanked the planning committee: "They work very hard all year to make the weekend happen! Thank you to Darlene Bartley, Lee Bergus, Sherrie Bergus, Lynn Allen Cione, Sue Cleaver, Dan Connor, Geri Corey, James Danella, Judy Green, Mary Gray Griffith, neal Halloran, Susan Herrmann, Gerry Hluchan, Liz Hluchan, Donna McCormack, Phil Massengill, Mary Rohde, Tom Rohde, Maureen Quattrini, Ray Quattrini, Jennifer Rundle, Michael Rundle, Evan Teatum, Elliot Volaski, Rose Volaski, Eveline White, Chief James Watt, Carla Wise.
