— Actors Robin Lord Taylor and Camren Bicondova recently visited Goshen to attend a gala fundraiser for the Orange County Gospel Fellowship.

The actors mingled with guests and parishioners of the multi-cultural church, which is devoted to the arts and includes the Dokeo Dramatic Arts Group in its ministry. The sold-out banquet was held Nov. 15 at the Palacio Catering and Conference Center.

Taylor stars in the Batman TV series "Gotham" as the young Oswald Cobblepot, otherwise known as The Penguin. He's also appeared in "The Walking Dead," "Law & Order," "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," "The Good Wife," and "Person of Interest." He's had a recurring role as "Darrell, the 'Late Show' page with the fake British accent" on "The Late Show with David Letterman."

Bicondova also acts in "Gotham" as the young Selina Kyle, or Catwoman.

"The evening was a tremendous success and truly a night to remember as the church raises funds to bring to fruition the much anticipated, 400-seat facility that will continue to reach out to the community via the dramatic and musical arts," stated a press release from the Fellowship.

The fundraiser featured a performance of "His Majesty," an original play written and directed by Beverly A. Sampson, with choreographed dance by Pamela Jones and original solo music written and performed by Shellie Sampson IV, Micheal Callaghan, Kyle Whitton, and Shari Sampson.

Fellowship Pastor Shellie Sampson said Bicondova was captivated by the quality of the theatrical and dance pieces, and that Taylor was impressed with the writing and direction of the script.

"In as much as the cast was impressed that these two accomplished and highly esteemed actors came to show their support for our dramatic arts program, the actors in return shared that they were 'truly blessed by all of the evenings programming' and were extremely grateful to have been invited," said Pastor Sampson.

In addition, actors Michael Chiklis and Erin Richards offered their support of the fall edition of the church's Culture Magazine: http://bit.ly/1j9DBxv.
