Goshen Senior Center's news for March
At the March 25 Goshen Senior Club meeting, Raisie Jacobs from Stern at Home Therapy will be the guest speaker and will provide a free lunch starting at noon.
Just a reminder for those who signed up for the free manicures and hand massages on March 8: please be at the senior center promptly by 1:15 p.m. The students are available for only one hour and must be on their way back to BOCES immediately following your manicure.
On Tuesday, March 12, starting at noon, the senior center will be celebrating St. Patrick’s day with our annual St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon! The cost to participate is $15 per person and advance reservations are required no later than Monday, March 4. As in the past, Catherine’s Restaurant will be catering this event, which will include corned beef and cabbage, potatoes, and carrots, along with a salad, Irish soda bread, rolls, and dessert. Please see Bonnie to make your reservation.
The Women’s Book Discussion will take place on Friday, March 22, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This month’s discussion will be on “Pavilion of Women” by Pearl S. Buck.
Save the date! This year’s “Senior” Prom hosted by the Goshen High School Interact Club will be held on Friday, April 26. This event is free to all Goshen seniors. More information will follow.
