Girls on the Run collects cold-weather accessories

GOSHEN — During November, the Girls on the Run club held a hat, mitten, glove and scarf drive to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of America.

The girls, who are in grades 3 to 5 at Goshen Intermediate School, collected gently used or new cold-weather accessories for children ages 5 to 16.

Girls on the Run Hudson Valley inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running. Girls on the Run members are Madison Albanese, Kaitlyn Byrne, Allison Colgan, Alexa Kriney, Kyla Kropp, Clare MacCagnan, Maggie Mullins, Lily Noteboom, Grace Patel, Maya Piscitelli, Gianna Ratuis, Emily Rose, Megan Salte, Elizabeth Scolza, Aliana Vanichpong-Barbosa and Sarah William.
