Frontier presents $5,000 to Goshen Chamber of Commerce
MIDDLETOWN — Frontier Communications recently presented $5,000 to the Goshen Chamber of Commerce in recognition of its participation in the America’s Best Communities competition. The Chamber will use the funds to publish the Goshen Welcome Guide.
Frontier, DISH Network, CoBank and The Weather Channel sponsor the competition, which is intended to jumpstart economic development and investment in rural America.
“The sponsors of the ABC competition respect the hard work the committee demonstrated in the competition,” said Frontier's general manager, Debbie Bogdanski, who personally delivered the symbolic check to Terry Smallin, executive director of the Chamber.
Kyle Roddey, mayor of the Village of Goshen, said, “The Village of Goshen and the Goshen Chamber of Commerce have begun a Goshen 2020 community visioning campaign. We have already initiated various local projects to improve the vibrancy of our beautiful community. This Welcome Guide will promote tourism and economic development in a number of ways. We are thankful for Frontier's generosity.”
