With a six-month comprehensive expansion project complete, the Friendly Auto Group has reason to celebrate. Employees, customers, and community members gathered at Friendly Acura of Middletown's new state-of-the-art facility for a ribbon cutting ceremony as part of its grand opening event last week.
The Friendly Auto Group is no stranger to the Hudson Valley with two locations in Poughkeepsie, Friendly Honda and Friendly Ford.
“We are proud to represent Acura in Middletown,” said Friendly Auto Group President Eric Kahn. "This beautiful new facility is an essential piece of the exceptional customer experience that we will provide. We acquired the dealership about a year ago and we plan to significantly grow the Acura business in this area."
The dealership was previously named Feder's Acura.
This expansion, dubbed “Friendly Acura 2,” left no stone unturned. The exterior and interior have been completely redesigned. The service department and the showroom have expanded. The showroom now includes a customer lounge and a café.
“Each of the improvements was carefully considered with one thing in mind,” General Manager Christopher J. Adams added, “and that’s making our client experience at Friendly Acura the friendliest, fastest, most convenient and comfortable experience possible.”
Kahn acquired the dealership in December 2015 and renamed it Friendly Acura of Middletown. Located on Route 6 near the intersection of Route 17M in Middletown, Friendly Acura is the only Acura dealership in Orange County.
