Fashion forward
GOSHEN Students in Fashion II classes in the Family and Consumer Science Department at the Goshen High School learned ways to pursue their interest during a recent visit by representatives from Sacred Heart University Fashion Program.
Professor David Bloom, advisor to the Fashion Program, talked about Sacred Hearts minors in design, marketing, and merchandising. He showed a presentation about the programs, reviewed the different courses, and discussed career options.
Students who participate in the fashion programs are given the opportunity to intern with top companies such as Elle, LOreal Paris, Marie Claire, and Ralph Lauren. Fashion students also have access to a new studio, along with a gallery and a dedicated runway for fashion shows.
Matthew Musico, admissions counselor, discussed the admissions process at Sacred Heart and gave students information about touring the campus in order to see if Sacred Heart is a good fit for their college choice.
Sacred Heart University is located in Fairfield, Conn.
