'Families Belong Together' march in Warwick this Saturday

WARWICK — Safe Space America will guide a "Families Belong Together" sister march in the Village of Warwick this Saturday to voice the community's support for the families torn apart by the Trump administration's zero tolerance immigration policy.
Community members who want to show their support are welcome to join a peaceful sidewalk march beginning at the Old School Baptist Meeting House on Church Street and Forester Avenue. Lineup is at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 20. The march will commence at 11:45 a.m. and proceed down Main Street to Railroad Green.
Community leaders and organizers will share their thoughts on the issue.
More than 2,000 children remain separated from their parents. Families that cross the border can be detained indefinitely.
"This is inhumane and cruel," say the event sponsors. "This is un-American. Join us in condemning the administration's actions and demanding that families be reunited."
