Veterans Day 2018 in Chester (

The public is invited to ceremonies in Chester and Goshen to honor all members, past and present, of the U.S. Armed Forces on Veterans Day, Monday, Nov. 11. Ceremonies in both communities will begin at 11 a.m. The Chester ceremony will be held at the Walton Engine & Hose Co., 81 Main St., Chester, with refreshments to follow at the firehouse. Goshen’s observance, hosted by American Legion Post 377 with assistance from VFW Post 1708, will be held on the South Church Street side of Church Park at the memorial across from Donovan’s Funeral Home. The Suresky car dealership at 2 Hatfield Lane will treat area veterans and their families to a free luncheon after the ceremony. For more information please turn to page 12.
