Why are you running for trustee?

Our family has proudly called the Village of Goshen home for many years. I’m running for Village Trustee because I want to give back to the community that has given so much to our family.

What are the top three things you aim to accomplish if elected?

My focus is on several straightforward goals.

First, I would work with the village’s building department to ensure it has the staffing and resources needed to efficiently process building applications, monitor compliance with the new village Airbnb regulations, and enforce our village code consistently and fairly.

Second, I will use my experience as someone who has run several successful businesses to take a fresh look at the village budget to ensure our tax dollars are being spent responsibly and efficiently.

Third, residents deserve clear answers about the Legoland water revenue. We were told it would provide a significant financial benefit to the village, yet assessments have dropped by less than 10 percent. The community deserves transparency and accountability about where that money has gone and how it will be used moving forward.

Why are you the best candidate for this position?

Our children, Jake and Alexa, are now away at college, giving me the opportunity to dedicate the time and energy to improving the village we love.

I am deeply invested in Goshen’s future—not only do I live here, but I own both commercial and residential property in the village.

Professionally, I owned and managed a hospitality company with more than 100 employees. That experience gave me hands-on knowledge of municipal planning, managing complex budgets, contract negotiations, overseeing commercial construction projects, navigating employment challenges, and handling the many complexities of insurance and financing.

I’m ready to bring my experience and work ethic to Village Hall.
