This week the Hudson Valley offers a diverse range of live music events, including a Johnny Cash & Country Music Festival at Warwick Valley Winery, a night of jazz at Stanley Deming Park, and a tribute to Jerry Garcia at Blue Arrow Farm.

Saturday, August 3

The day begins at 12 p.m. with the Johnny Cash & Country Music Festival at Warwick Valley Winery, Distillery & Orchard (114 Little York Rd, Warwick), a must-attend for country music and Johnny Cash fans!

At 2 p.m., Art Lillard Trio will perform as part of the Last Whisky Bar’s (45 Woodlands Way, Warwick) “Saturday Afternoon Jazz Series,” while JP Conques brings his pop, country, and classic rock tunes to Clearview Vineyard (35 Clearview Ln., Warwick).

Also at 2 p.m., Sean O’Flynn will perform acoustic tunes at Applewood Winery (82 4 Corners Rd., Warwick).

The evening kicks off at 5 p.m. with Southern Stew’s southern rock hits as part of the Sunset Series at Pennings Farm Cidery (4 Warwick Turnpike, Warwick) with a $10 cover charge, including one cider or beer. At the same time, jam band enthusiasts can join a Phish Party with Uncle Ebenezer at Trail’s End Taphouse at GWL Garden Market (1197 Rte. 17A, Greenwood Lake), and Whiskey Crossing will perform country rock songs at Tin Barn Brewing (62 Kings Hwy Bypass, Chester).

At 7 p.m., Good Time Charlie will play at The Last Whisky Bar, and at 8:30 p.m., Mimicking Mars, a high-energy rock band, will play both covers and original favorites at Barrel 28 (28 N Main St., Florida).

Sunday, August 4

Saturday continues with an exciting lineup. Starting at 12 p.m. the Johnny Cash & Country Music Festival continues at Warwick Valley Winery. At 1 p.m., Mike Holmes & Terry McDonough Duo bring their acoustic favorites waterfront at the Cove Castle Restaurant (13 Castle Ct., Greenwood Lake).

The afternoon is packed with performances: at 2 p.m., Carolyn Weller will deliver singer-songwriter tunes at Apple Dave’s Orchards (82 Four Corners Rd., Warwick), Dan & Joana will perform at Clearview Vineyard, singer-songwriter John Irizarry will play at Applewood Winery, and The Good, The Bad & The Ugly will rock out at Tin Barn Brewing. The Black Cat Bone Trio will take the stage at the Pennings Farm Market Beer Garden (161 Route 94 S., Warwick) at 3 p.m., while Steven Wing & Brian Gans deliver a set at The Last Whisky Bar.

At 4 p.m., Alyssa Goldstein will showcase her powerhouse vocals and acoustic tunes at Pennings Farm Cidery, and Vinyl Tap will perform at D’Boathaus (322 Lakeside Rd., Hewitt). The day concludes at 7:30 p.m. with Patrick Perone delivering a fun and captivating Elvis tribute as part of Greenwood Lake’s Summer Concert Series at Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park (7 Windermere Ave., Greenwood Lake).

Thursday, August 8

At 7 p.m., Sean O’Flynn will perform a set at The Last Whisky Bar, while The Deneckes, hailing from Fort Wayne, Indiana, make their debut at Mattingly’s Tavern (16 N Main St., Florida) as part of their “the mullein tour.”

Friday, August 9

At 6 p.m., Pennings Farm Market hosts another Friday of their yearly Clam ‘n Jam featuring Campfire Jukebox Band in the Beer Garden, bringing a diverse mix of rock, country, blues, and alternative. Also at 6 p.m., Exit 130, a high-energy rock cover band, will be playing at Tin Barn Brewing.

At 6:30 p.m., Doc Fry Music Sessions continue at the Warwick Valley Community Center (11 Hamilton Ave, Warwick) with three live bands: the emo band Foxtails, backed by punk groups RBNX and Minus Points. Tickets are $5 at the door.

At 7 p.m., the Sandy Stones XL Trio, featuring Dave Hirchberg, Dave Gellis, and Dave D’Pinto, take over the Cove Castle Restaurant, and Strings Attached will play pop rock favorites at The Last Whisky Bar.

The Hudson Valley Jazz Festival will bring a vibrant evening of music to Stanley Deming Park (South Street) at 7 p.m. This free outdoor concert, featuring The Hudson Valley Jazz Ensemble with Rave Tesar, Jeff Ciampa, Steve Rubin, and J. Brunka, will also include a special guest appearance by Jerry Vivino. In case of rain, an alternate indoor location will be announced.

Also starting at 7 p.m., Blue Arrow Farm (86 Glenwood Rd., Pine Island) will host a tribute celebrating Jerry Garcia, “The End of the Days Between,” featuring Her Angels in Flame, a Grateful Dead tribute band.
