We won't be suing C&S

To the Editor: We wanted to clarify that the local citizen’s group, The Preservation Collective, will not be suing the Town of Chester. However, we realize that several residents still have concerns about the C&S expansion project. As a result, we consulted with our attorney and forwarded his findings to the Chester Town Board. You can read correspondence on our website at www.thepreservationcollective.com. Just as a reminder, one of our goals is to increase public awareness in the planning and development of our towns. We believe that participation by the community is an important part of the process and we applaud all of you who attend meetings, ask questions, write letters, etc. Please keep it up. We encourage everyone that is interested in development projects to review the files and maps directly at town hall. Feel free to ask questions and provide input. We can’t stress enough the need to be informed and involved early in the process rather than later. Thanks to all of you that contacted us. We hope to continue to be a resource to the community. Tracy Schuh, Chairman The Preservation Collective, Chester
