It won’t be long, and shopping just might be possible at Goshen Plaza, the shopping center under construction at the nearly 14-acre site between Matthew Street and Clowes Avenue in the Village of Goshen.

According to Anthony Martinez, Vice President of Fareri Associates Construction/Wescorp Builders, CVS Pharmacy should be moving into its new stand-alone building by the end of 2020. He said the 14,698 square foot CVS building that faces Matthew Street, the main entrance into the Plaza site, is more than halfway completed.

Also well under construction is the 17,200 square foot two-story building slated to house Garnet Medical Group. Upon entering Goshen Plaza from Matthew Street, the medical site is situated to the left.

Martinez is pleased to announce that all utilities — water and sewer lines — as well as mechanical systems, including air conditioning, heating, electrical and plumbing systems are all new.

And that includes a brand-new paved parking lot, professionally done from the ground up.

Until the grand opening of the new freestanding CVS, the current CVS Pharmacy will remain open for business, meeting the needs of the public.

Martinez is hoping to have several other retail stores open by the end of 2020, with a full opening of Goshen Plaza by the summer of 2021.
