Burke Catholic wows audiences with 'The Little Mermaid'

— The Burke Catholic Players captivated audiences with three performances of Disney’s "The Little Mermaid" on the stage at Burke Catholic High School the weekend of April 21-22.
Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories and the classic animated film, "The Little Mermaid" is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages. Directed by Pat Dillon, the musical featured irresistible songs, including "Under the Sea," "Kiss the Girl" and "Part of Your World."
“These dedicated students prepared for months for these performances,” said Burke Catholic music teacher Kristina Lattanzio. “I’m so proud of their efforts. They captured the essence of the story, and their singing and dancing was phenomenal!”
