Members of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Orange Blossom Post 1167 in Chester display an American flag afghan raffled off last month in a fundraiser: Janice Marion; Barbara Gardner, president; Julie Bell, treasurer; and Pat Morgan. The afghan was created by member Regina Pegg, who is currently living in Germany, and raffled off on July 14. Steven Nelson is the winner. The fundraiser took in more than $1,500, which will be used for the Auxiliary's expenses and for veterans’ activities. Post 1167 also supports the Hudson Valley Honor Flights. (By Ginny Privitar)
