Scott Leroy Knapp of Goshen, died Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020, at Garnett Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill. He was 67 years old.
Scott was born Feb. 1, 1953, in Goshen, the son of John Leroy Knapp and Marguerite (Black) Knapp.
He worked for Shoprite in Chester. He enjoyed winter camping and spelunking (exploring caves). He was a runner, loved golfing and Scottish Terriers.
He is survived by his brother John Knapp and his partner Phyllis Fitzgerald of Berne; his sister Tobylee Weale of Middletown; and nephew Stephen Weale and his wife Ann Marie and son Cole Patrick of Middletown.
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Marguerite Knapp.
Due to the COVID health care crisis there will be no visitation.
Burial will be private at Slate Hill Cemetery in Goshen.
