| 28 Jun 2021 | 04:56

Two upcoming performances are on tap as the Orange County Arts Council presents its hybrid weekly music series, “OC Live,” for both in-person and virtual audiences.

Both performances will take place at Stonegate Farms, 4 Stonegate Drive, in Newburgh, with simultaneous streaming on Facebook Live. Admission is $10 for the live performance and a suggested donation of $5 for those streaming the performance.

On Saturday, July 3, at 2 p.m., OC Live will present Waylan Roche and JAN3T.

Roche is a Hudson Valley-based songwriter who weaves elements of classical, gospel, funk and jazz into a unique sound somewhere between alt R&B and indie folk. JAN3T is a songwriter with R&B, punk, and electro influences with endless vocal versatility.

On Saturday, July 10, at 2 p.m., OC Live will present Raina Sokolov-Gonzalez, a singer/composer based in Brooklyn.

Rooted in Jazz and R&B, the songwriter invites us into her unique sonic world with harmonic nuance and lyrical poetry.

Registration is required. Visit www.ocartscouncil.org to register and for the latest information on upcoming performances.
