Goshen. Christmas House Tour set for Dec. 5

In a year of challenges and changes, it is good to know that Christmas is still on at Catholic Charities of Orange, Sullivan and Ulster. The non-profit will be hosting its sixth annual Goshen Christmas House Tour on Saturday, Dec. 5.

The 2020 event is a tour with a twist. It will be a self-guided driving event featuring the fun and festive outdoor decorations of homes in the greater Goshen area. To date, 20 homes have signed on to light up their homes for Catholic Charities.

The tour is a fun, festive way to kick off the holiday season while raising funds for Catholic Charities’ programs – including emergency food and shelter assistance and addiction prevention and treatment. These programs are busier than ever as the ripple effects of the pandemic continue to impact our community.

Contributions stay local so Catholic Charities can continue to provide much-needed help to neighbors who are struggling. Tour passes are $25 per carload when purchased by Tuesday, Dec. 1, and $35 per carload for passes purchased on tour day.

Each car pass will include a tour map highlighting the featured homes, as well as activities for children.
