Even if the weather is dreary, the mood is cheery at Washington’s Headquarters State Historic Site, in Newburgh, which is holding its "Cure for Cabin Fever" on Friday, Dec. 27, and Saturday, Dec. 28, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Get away from the hustle and bustle of the season with a tour of General Washington’s headquarters and a visit to the museum. Make a whirligig (an 18th-century toy) and tour the Tower of Victory. (Access to the Tower may be limited based on staffing and weather conditions). Everything is included in the price of admission.
