Goshen Plaza Liquors has moved from Goshen Plaza to 25 1/2 Green Street, across from the back lot of the Sunoco station.
They've moved because of the ongoing renovations at Goshen Plaza, expected to be completed in two years. The store plans to move back to the plaza when the work is done.
Goshen Plaza Liquors opened at its new location last Wednesday. Hours are as follows:
Monday-Thursday: 8:30 a.m.-8 p.m.
Friday: 8:30 a.m.-9 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
Sunday: noon-8 p.m.
Al and Norma Blanchette opened the business in the Goshen Plaza in 1987. Their son, Jamie Blanchette, started working there in 1990 and took over ownership and management in 2000.
So, what's the secret of their longevity?
“Great customer service," said Jamie. "That’s what we do. We try to get everything out at a good price all the time.”
