Grade 6

Lefa Brown has really stepped up her game second quarter! She comes to class prepared, and ready to learn. Lefa has a great sense of humor. She is kind and respectful to her peers and teachers. Lefa has a very positive outlook on life.

Ryleigh Ortiz is a friendly and outgoing young lady. She is always ready with a greeting and a smile. In addition, she is a responsible and hardworking student. She always does her homework, is a leader in group discussion and works hard to learn from mistakes. Ryleigh strives to do her best in all she does.

Ella Gardner is a wonderful young adult. She is a mature and responsible student. She has an excellent work ethic and attitude towards her schoolwork. Ella is always kind and helpful when dealing with her peers. Her efforts in class make her a great role model for other students.

Jacqueline Rettberg epitomizes the qualities and expectations of Goshen excellence. She is a hard-working and diligent student who goes above and beyond what is asked from her teachers and her peers. Jacqueline is self-motivated and challenges not only herself, but the people around her. Keep up the great work Jackie!

Special Areas:

Eamonn Mulleady is a talented artist. He’s always open to feedback and improvement on his work. During class discussion Eamonn will not hesitate to offer suggestions or his opinion. His questions are thoughtful and gets the whole class thinking more about the artwork. He is responsible with the art materials and helps others when needed.

Grade 7

Michael Bonito displays a pleasant, considerate and modest demeanor. He arrives to class on-time and is always prepared. Never afraid to ask questions, he shows active engagement and a desire to do his best work. He is also genuinely polite, thoughtful and cooperative, both in and out of the classroom. In addition to showing these model behaviors, Michael was also one of 7 grade class spelling bee finalists! We can all agree that Michael has been having a great quarter three! Nice work!

Ahmed Arif is respectful and determined young man. He challenges himself to meet his high goals and accepts hard work with a great attitude. When working with others, Ahmed is encouraging, patient, and a great role model. He is kind to everyone and has a great sense of humor as well. Congratulations Ahmed and thank you for being an upstanding and positive contributor to our school community!

Alexandra Torres is a polite and friendly student. She always has a smile on her face and a positive attitude to match. Alex is a hardworking student, completes her classwork, and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Keep up the great work, Alex!

Special Areas:

Grant Moore is a very talented musician and always maintains a positive attitude. He is an excellent role model to others in class. Grant continues to be respectful and enthusiastic each and every day in school and is an absolute pleasure to teach.

Grade 8

Quentin Riley is a respectful and kind student who has a wonderful sense of humor. He is committed to academic success and comes to class with a positive attitude and a willingness to work with others.

Jack Moran is a smart, determined, kind and considerate young man. He demonstrates maturity and is always appropriate, both in and out of the classroom. He relates well to adults and his peers, is a positive influence and looks out for the best interests of others. Jack is an excellent participant, curious, and self motivated. He is a quiet leader and sets an admirable example.

Connor Krauss is an active participant in his classes. He shows his knowledge of skills by asking intuitive questions and thinking outside of the box. He is a great leader in group activities, often taking charge and helping those in need. Connor has a great sense of humor and enjoys making both his classmates and teachers laugh. Connor has shown this year that he is ready to face any challenge head on, and that he can succeed in whatever he puts his mind to!

Special Areas:

Michelle Ellison is a helpful, outgoing, and courteous student. She always arrives with a smile and a hello to all of us. She is an avid reader that asks for suggestions and loves YA books! We have had several book discussions on her recent reads and growing pile of TBR (to be read) books. Michelle does not like to just sit in the library when she is caught up with her work – she is always asking for something to do. She has become fond of watering the plants and even attempted shelf-reading the fiction section (alphabetically) – in which she was able to correct several errors. Michelle often recommends books to other students that come into the library. Her 8 grade ELA classes were recently in the library to borrow books for their project and she was a great help in offering reading suggestions to her classmates.
