CHESTER — Spring is coming, and so is the Chester Kiwanis's annual townwide cleanup.
The new date for the cleanup is Saturday, April 13, beginning at 9 a.m. Volunteers will gather in the Wendy's restaurant parking lot on Brookside Avenue in the village, where they'll get supplies and form into teams.
The rain date is Sunday, April 14.
At a February town meeting, organizer Tom Flynn announced an April 27 date, but it has since been pushed up.
