Playhouse announces double auditions

MONROE — Creative Theatre–Muddy Water Players will hold open auditions on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 2 and 3, for its upcoming 24th season at The Playhouse at Museum Village, Route 17M in Monroe.

'Getting Away With Murder'Auditions for the May production of “Getting Away With Murder,” a mystery suspense by George Furth and Stephen Sondheim, will be from noon to 2:30 p.m. on both days.

The production is under the direction of Steve Davis, and performances will be from May 3-19.

Cast size is seven men and four women.

'The Fox on the Fairway'Auditions for the July production of Ken Ludwig’s comedy, “The Fox on the Fairway,” will be from 3 to 5 p.m. on the same days.

That production is under the direction of Terri Weiss and performances will be from July 6-21.

Cast size is three men and three women.

Prepared materials are not necessary.

Creative Theatre - Muddy Water Players is a non-profit corporation dedicated to promoting the performing arts in the Hudson Valley.

The company operates The Playhouse at Museum Village, presenting a season of Main Stage performances from May to November.
