Did you know there are hundreds of children living in our community who have never had their own pair of new pajamas? You can make a difference by donating a pair of new pajamas.
Pajamas can be for any season, and sizes from newborn to age 18 are needed. There is a bin in our lobby (100 Trotter Circle) that can be used for making your donation until Feb. 15.
On Monday, Feb. 11, starting at noon, I will be hosting my annual Valentine’s Day pizza party. Advance reservations are required no later than Friday, Feb. 8. Special singing guests are The Dover Boys, who are members of the Poughkeepsie Newyorkers Chorus.
The Women’s Book Discussion will take place on Friday, Feb. 22, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This month’s discussion will be on “Mr. Penumbra’s 24-Hour Bookstore” by Robin Sloan.
At the Feb. 25 Goshen Senior Club meeting, guest speaker Trish Huggins, certified work based coordinator for Orange-Ulster BOCES Career and Technical Education Center, will be discussing a new a program to provide free manicures and hand massage sto all interested seniors starting in March.
