Frank Joseph Giorgio of Chester, N.Y., dies at age 94

Frank Joseph Giorgio of Chester, N.Y., died on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019. He was 94.

Son of Michael and Antoinette (DeVito) Giorgio, he was born Jan. 6, 1925, in West Hoboken, N.J. He honorably served in the Army during World War II. He worked as a sheet metal worker, and was a member of the Italian American Club and the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia, of 71 years; his daughter, Corinne LaTour, and husband, Jack, of Goshen, N.Y., two grandchildren, Yvonne LaTour and Stephen LaTour and his wife, Jennifer; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 30, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church St., Goshen.

The funeral service was scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 31, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38015.
