Randy Newton of Middletown, N.Y., dies at age 52

Randy Newton of Middletown, N.Y., died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019, at home. He was 52.

Son of the late Roger Newton and Susan (Palmiter) Yorke, he was born Sept. 6, 1966, in Suffern, N.Y.

He worked as a business analyst at Anthem Blue Cross.

Randy is survived by his mother, Susan, and father, Leon Yorke, of Austin, Arkansas; sisters, Marie Yorke of Belleville, N.J., and Trish Manna and husband, John, of Goshen, N.Y.; brother, Leon Yorke and wife, Lisa, of Sussex, N.J.; and five nephews, Jacob, Alec, Ryan, Eric, and Ethan.

A memorial visitation and service was scheduled for 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 17, at the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church St., Goshen, with the service beginning at 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Randy’s name to The Family Church, Middletown, or to a charity of one’s choice.

Arrangements are under the care of the Donovan Funeral Home, Goshen.
