Carmen Rojas of Goshen, N.Y., dies at age 68

Carmen Rojas of Goshen, N.Y., a former retail clerk and a longtime resident of the area, passed away on Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, at the Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 68.

Daughter of the late Teresiano and Carmen Rivera Rojas, she was born on Aug. 4, 1950, in San Turce, Puerto Rico.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Isabel "Liz" Rodriguez and Monsey DeJesus. She had no biological children but always referred to Ramon "JB," Bryant, and Carie as her children after the passing of Isabel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Dec. 20 at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home in Middletown, N.Y. Prayers were offered for Carmen during the visitation.
