Orange County offers variety of celebrations for the new year

GOSHEN – From dance parties to black-tie affairs, there’s a festive event for everyone to ring in the New Year in Orange County, officials said in a press release.

According to the release, people can bring in the new year by visiting a local brewery for live music and craft beverages, or dress to impress at a gala serving gourmet meals, cocktails and breakfast to-go.

“Kick off the New Year in Orange County,” Orange County Tourism Director Amanda Dana said. “Count down to 2019 as you dine and dance the night away. You’ll find great lodging options convenient to every celebration.”

If you are looking for something special to do on New Year's Eve, the county says you should make plans now because reservations or tickets are required for all of the following celebrations:

New Year’s Eve Dinner at Silvio’s Villa, 274 Route 94S, Warwick, 1-10 p.m.

Wrap up 2018 with a candle-lit dinner. Offering selections from the restaurant’s 2018 Winter Menu, indulge in a sampling of ala carte items.

Foodies & Moodies: Monday Music Special New Year’s Eve Dinner at The Grange, 1 Ryerson Road, Warwick, 6-8:30 p.m.

Start the week and end the year with an intimate dining and entertainment experience. The Grange’s special five-course prix fixe dinner features fresh and local ingredients prepared in the restaurant’s distinctive signature style. Dine while enjoying music from a well-rounded lineup of pianists.
