UPDATE: The power has been restored in Goshen as of 2:30 p.m.

Hundreds of Goshen residents are without power on this chilly Tuesday.

According to Orange & Rockland’s outage map, 470 customers are without power in the area around Golden Hill Avenue, including Carriage Hill Apartments.

O&R says the outage was caused by a downed tree that took out a pole and a transformer. Crews are currently setting the pole and expect power to be restored at 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Residents on Facebook reported the power going out at around 11:30 p.m. on Monday night.

The temperature dropped Monday night to 27 degrees in Goshen and it’s only expected to warm up by a few degrees later in the day Tuesday.

Winds were at 15 miles an hour Tuesday morning, causing it to feel more like the upper teens.

“Still freezing in Woodhills on Fletcher,” Elizabeth Cortes wrote on Facebook at 9:30 a.m.
