— Seven Goshen High School student musicians were selected to perform in this year’s New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Area All-State Music Festival on Nov. 17 at Wallkill Senior High School.

To be chosen for this honor, each student prepared and performed an advanced level solo piece for a NYSSMA judge last spring. The student’s score sheets were then submitted to the Area All-State committee.

The Area All-State Festival represents 39 districts from five counties in New York state.

The Goshen students who participated include:

Riley Doyle

Madilyn Bunzey

Jillian DenDanto, who sang with the Treble Chorus

Jacob Forman, who sang in the Mixed Chorus

Siddhi Balamurali, who performed with the Symphonic Band

Sydney Jessup and Jade Bou, who performed with the Symphony Orchestra
