GOSHEN - The Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame will present some classic Currier & Ives art as part of its Lunch, Learn, and Create event Nov. 15, according to a press release.

The event will take place from noon to 2:30 p.m. and feature wintry scenes from Currier & Ives as well as a Thnksgiving style hot buffet lunch and an opportunity for attendees to work on a craft project, the release said.

After the buffet lunch, there will be a slide presentation and discussion of Currier & Ives winter scenes, the release said.

The day’s activities will then be capped off with a hands-on craft project, designed for participants of all artistic abilities, and time to tour the museum’s main gallery featuring the exhibition “Horse-Drawn: The Sleighs of Currier & Ives.”

Tickets for the Lunch, Learn & Create session are $18 for museum members and $20 for non-members and include lunch with soft beverages and dessert, as well as art supplies, the release said.

The Museum is located at 240 Main Street in Goshen.

Reservations are required by Tuesday, Nov. 13, and because of anticipated interest there is a risk of selling out, the organization said in the release.

Those interested in attending are asked to call (845) 294-6330 early to secure a place at the table.
