Herbert F. Curth of Goshen, N.Y., dies at age 94

Herbert F. Curth of Goshen, N.Y., an eight-year resident of the Buckingham Pond area in Albany, N.Y., died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018, at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, N.Y. He was 94.

Son of Frank and Martha (Heineke) Curth, he was born on Feb. 12, 1924, in Kahla, Germany.

He served in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his daughters, Jean Aldrich and her husband, Chris Aldrich, and Arlene Anderson and her husband, Tim Anderson; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two nieces.

He was predeceased by his wife, Irene "Barbara" Curth.

There is no visitation. Burial will be private with the family.

Donations may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Rd., Newburgh, NY 12550.

Arrangements were made by Donovan Funeral Home, Goshen.
