Chester Recreation Department planning trips for the new year

CHESTER - The Parks and Recreation Department has a variety of trips planned for the new year, according to Director Michelle Deshler.
"Things are moving along here at the center. We have some new and exiting things scheduled for this year," she said in a press release. "All of these trips are open to all Chester residents."
Jan. 24 - Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, with a three-course lunch at American Bounty. The cost is $56.50 per person.
Feb. 28, Sands Casino with a cost of $25, with a $25.00 slot play reimbursement from the casino.
March 14 - To Silver Birches in Hawley, Pennsylvania for a St Patrick's Day Festival. The trip includes coffee and streusel upon arrival, music, dancing, audience participation, open bar with draft beer, wine and soda, family style Irish festival, and more music and dancing. The trip is recommended for age 55 and up.
April 25 - Viva Las Vegas at Brownstone in Paterson, New Jersey, featuring the sounds of Connie Francis, Barry Manilow, and a special "Elvis" tribute. dance, dine and enjoy an exciting finale. The cost is $71 per person and is recommended for age 55 and up.
May 3 - Stay tuned for a "special" announcement for all Town of Chester residents age 60 an above.
June 3-4 - A trip to Lancaster, Pennsylvania for two days. Details to follow.
All trips included round trip motor coach transportation.
