The Chester town board hired Michele Deshler (right) as a part-time employee to work with full-timer Lori Streichert (left) in the town's parks and recreation department. "I am excited to begin working with Lori at Chester Rec as we bring new and exciting programs to the Chester Community residents," said Deshler. "We will be enhancing what is in place and growing the program." The popular Holiday Lights Parade in Chester is Deshler's brainchild. (Photo by Frances Ruth Harris)
