The truth about Trump and the GOP

To the Editor;

The truth about Trump and the GOP is it does not matter to them. Voters must change this in November.

Trump is a corrupt, amoral serial liar, a self-admitted sexual predator. Unfit for office! The GOP knows this; does nothing, never challenging Trump’s daily lies or sinister conspiracy theories clearly expressed as distractions for his corrupt deplorable behavior. The GOP's singular focus remains tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy, while cutting programs and services for the most needy. No comfort from the religious community either. They willfully ignore Trump’s transgressions and remain silent, blinded by faith, assuming Trump as their “prodigal son." To the contrary, perhaps Trump is your false prophet.

Truth is; local, state, and national “Republicans” are pre-occupied with enabling and protecting the scourge of Trump upon our nation, wrecking sacred institutions in the process, including the presidency itself. They must be voted out of office for dereliction of duty in Nov. All of them!

The truth about Trump and the GOP is that truths are situational and do not matter to them; this is their legacy. True patriots are obligated to resist. MeToo.
