Swooping, swaying, gliding, curving, curling colorful kites will be soaring over Washington’s Headquarters State Historic Site, in Newburgh, on Saturday, Sept.22rd, 2 to 4 p.m., during our annual “Kites Over the Hudson,” a Hudson River Valley Ramble event.

Free kites will be given to the first 150 children ages 15 and under courtesy of the Friends of the State Historic Sites of the Hudson Highlands.

Refreshments will also be provided.

Take a guided tour of the historic Washington’s Headquarters and explore the Museum’s exhibits. Admission is free for that one day, compliments of Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation. Hours are 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
