Water slide again to cool off Goshen

File photo by Erika Norton Kids and adults alike enjoyed a 1,000-foot water slide in Goshen on a hot summer day last summer. The slide returns to Goshen on Aug. 4.

GOSHEN — The Village of Goshen is once again contracting with the company Slide the City to bring a 1,000 foot water slide to the village on Saturday, Aug. 4.
This slide will be set up on Erie Street and the event will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
During the event Amore's Pizza, Three Mamas and Mike and Sweet Tymes will be on site with food available for purchase.
Lawn games will be set up in Erie Street Park with some other children activities at the base of the slide.
Tickets can be purchased online at SlidetheCity.com.
Erie Street will be closed down at midnight that Friday evening. Residents who reside on Erie Street are encouraged to park their vehicles at the office building at the corner of Erie and Murray streets.
Residents who are unable to walk that distance should call Mayor Kyle Roddey at Village Hall 845 294-6750 to work out transport.
