New York State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) on March 5 met with students and educators from the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) in his Albany office to discuss music education in local schools and funding requests for this year’s budget. NYSSMA is a 5,000-member organization that’s advocates on behalf of the 1.8 million school music students in New York State.
