Don’t forget that this Sunday begins Daylight Saving Time, which means “time” will jump forward one hour at 2 a.m. Sunday.

Manipulating time has been a human activity since, well, time began, with efforts recorded for hundreds of years. The United States adopted the practice of extending the clock in the Spring in 1918 in order to give citizens more sunlit hours during productive times of our day.

It has been debated and studied ever since with those who claim it’s a hassle, unhealthy and even dangerous. While others claim it does help productivity.

If you don’t have an automatic clock that is set to Daylight Saving Time, then don’t forget to “Spring Forward” your old-fashioned clock Saturday night before you go to bed, or you might be an hour late to all your Sunday activities.
