Lauren Kimberly Linguanti of Wallkill, N.Y., dies at age 28

Lauren Kimberly Linguanti of the Town of Wallkill, N.Y., died Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at ORMC-Orange Regional Medical Center of Middletown, N.Y., after a long struggle with addiction. She was 28.

She was born Aug. 14, 1989, in Middletown.

She is survived by her mother, Charlaine Raneri (Carroll), and step mother, Lisa Raneri; father, Glenn Linguanti; fiancee, Shaun Freeman; son, James Dean Freeman; daughter, Charlaine Monroe "Lainie" Freeman; sister, Heather Linguanti; grandmother, Toni Freeman; grandfather, Dean Freeman; and many cousins, nieces and a nephew.

There will be no funeral services. Instead, the family will be having a private ceremony to honor her.

Donations to a charity of your choice is appreciated. No flowers please, for we have nowhere to put them since there will be no burial.

Lauren loved music, walking on the beach, cooking, and cats, she also loved her children more than words can say. All Lauren wanted was to be happy and live a normal life. Now she can fly with the angels and be free from her struggle and suffering. Her family was supportive and actively tried to help her but the grips of addiction is too powerful for some.

If you have a loved one struggling with addiction be assured that there is resources out there if they choose to get help.

Memorial Services will be held privately by the family at a later date.

Arrangements are under the care of the Donovan Funeral Home, Goshen.
