— Dusklit has put out a call for artists for its one-night, interactive art festival, now in its third year.

With twilight as a backdrop, more than 25 immersive installations, performances, and site-specific environments will invite participation from the audience. Artists are encouraged to submit proposals for a roving performance or installation, or a stationary 10-by-10-foot installation, environment, or performance. Proposals must invite visitors to participate rather than merely look, and collaboration is encouraged.

The application deadline is Friday, March 2, at 11:59 p.m. Apply by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14, to bypass the application fee. A $20 fee is required for applications submitted on and after Feb. 15.

The festival will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11, at The Seligmann Homestead, 23-26 White Oak Drive, Sugar Loaf.

This artist-run festival is curated by Cody Rounds and Olivia Baldwin.

Past Dusklit projects include all media, from site-specific dance and sound art to life-size kinetic sculpture, VR, interactive plays, wearable art, sensory deprivation chambers, and many other offerings. See dusklit.com for past festivals.
