FLORIDA — The Sweet Onion Brewhouse in the Village of Florida won Wing Wars, a wing competition put on by the radio station WPDH last weekend.

The brewhouse staff won the Wing Wars competition last year as well.

This year, the brewhouse entered three kinds of wings: BBQ Brisket, Chicken Pot Pie and the grand prize winner, Bang Bang, said owner Kristen Mayer.

Sweet Onion Brewhouse will be competing this coming Saturday at Wing Fest, a competition run by BAP events and radio station K104, at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie.
