PINE BUSH — The Orange County Music Educators’ Association will host its High School All-County Band, Orchestra and Chorus Concert on Saturday, Jan. 27, at Pine Bush High School.

The event’s audition-only ensembles are comprised of exemplary 9th through 12th grade high school student musicians from schools across Orange County.

Attendees will hear musical selections performed by dedicated high school students from the All-County Band, Orchestra and Chorus.

Additionally, attendees will also be treated to solo performances by each of the 2018 OCMEA Scholarship winners.

OCMEA is an organization of music educators who teach in Orange County and are committed to promoting the understanding and appreciation of music in the lives of students, their families and the community.

This concert kicks off the 2018 season, which also includes the Junior High All-County Music Festival, Elementary All-County Music Festival, and Jazz All-County Music Festival.

Essential information• The event begins at 4 p.m. at Pine Bush High School, located at 156 Route 302 in the hamlet of Pine Bush.

• Tickets are $8 and can be purchased at the door.

• Additional merchandise will be available for those interested in supporting the organization.
