Celia M. Palazzola of Goshen, N.Y., died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018, at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, N.Y. She was 81.

Daughter of Joseph Carbone and Gabriella Spagnuolo, she was born May 26, 1936, in Boston, Mass.

She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Goshen.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony J. Palazzola, at home; sons, Anthony J. Palazzola Jr. and wife, Joy, of Goshen and Christopher J. Palazzola of Atlanta, Ga.; and grandson, Anthony J. Palazzola III of Goshen.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Francine E. Palazzola.

Visitation was Jan. 21 at the Donovan Funeral Home, Goshen. A Mass of Christian burial was held Jan. 22 at St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Goshen. Burial was in Wallkill Cemetery, Middletown, on Jan. 24.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
