'Acting Anyone,' for everyone

— "All the world's a stage" — and The Academy of Film, Television, Stage and Performing Arts says anyone on this stage who doesn't have their "acting" together is missing a big opportunity.

The Academy is offering training for actors, ages 8 to 80, in its "Acting Anyone" courses. A class will be offered from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 20, at St. James Episcopal Church, 1 St. James Place, Goshen.

"Broadcasting and entertainment is the most powerful and lucrative industry sector in today's economy," the Academy says. "We are all actors. Some good, most bad and the remainder are poorly directed. Here is your opportunity to experience All that you have in you."

Upcoming classes at St. James will be held on the following dates, at 10 a.m.:

February 10

February 17

February 24

March 3

March 10

March 17

March 24

March 31
