Lisa Antonette Posca of Chester, N.Y., dies at age 51

Lisa Antonette Posca of Chester, N.Y., owner of the Sunsations Tanning & Beauty Salon in Pine Island, N.Y., entered into rest on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at home. She was 51.

Daughter of Phyllis Platt Carzan and John Carzan, she was born on April 2, 1966, in Manhattan.

She is survived by her mother, Phyllis Carzan; daughters, Angela Byrne (Chaz) and Ashley Fitzgerald; sister, Donna Carzan-Schmick, and brother in-law, Kevin; nephews, Thomas Leon, Matthew Leon, and Patrick Kane.

A family statement said, "Lisa's strength, courage and selflessness will always be remembered by those who knew her. She lived life on the edge, loved to explore and her legacy will continue to live on in her daughters."

As per her wishes, cremation will be held privately. A celebration of life will be held in the coming weeks and will be made public on Facebook.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the T.S. Purta Funeral Home.
