Frank D'Agostino of Chester, N.Y, dies at age 85

D'Agostino Obituary

Frank D'Agostino of Chester, N.Y., entered into rest on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, with his family around him at home. He was 85.

Frank was born March 24, 1932 in Coney Island, NY, the son of Vincent and Camille D’Agostino. He served in the US Army during the Korean War; was a member of the Rolls Royce Owners Club, The Silver Ghost Club, Antique Automobile Club of America, the Monroe Chester Sportsman Club, was an avid black powder shooter, a lifelong NRA member, Chester Golden Age Club and member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Warwick. Frank and Hilda enjoyed touring Canada and America with his 1925 Rolls and his other favorite antique cars.

He is survived by his wife, Hilda D'Agostino at home; children, Lynne Antonucci and husband Robert of Highland Lakes, NJ and Frank D’Agostino and wife Sharon of East Islip, N.Y.; brothers, Max D’Agostino of Westchester, N.Y., and Robert D’Agostino of Maryland; four grandchildren, Scott and Dana Unger and Tyler and Jared D’Agostino; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and brother, James.

Memorial Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 7, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church St., Goshen, with a Memorial Service at 3 p.m. with Pastor Ken Susskraut officiating.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, make memorial donations to Good Shepherd Restoration Fund, 95 Kings Highway, Warwick, NY 10990.
