Eleanor Milo of Goshen, N.Y., dies at age 101

Eleanor Milo of Goshen, N.Y., formerly of Pelham Manor, N.Y., passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017. She was 101.

Daughter of Michael Romano and Maria Quaglietta, she was born in Utica, N.Y., on May 10, 1916.

She married Sam (Migliozzi) Milo in New York, N.Y., on May 8, 1938.

Survivors include her children, John Milo, Robert Milo, Marilyn Gabriele; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Eleanor was predeceased by her loving husband, Sam; brothers, Joseph Romano, Albert Romano, and Pasquale Romano; sisters, Roslyn ZIgarelli, Angelina Gisondo, Theresa Costa, and Ann Barbera.

A celebration of Eleanor's life took place Dec. 27 at the Pelham Funeral Home, Pelham, N.Y. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, Dec. 28, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 575 Fowler Avenue Pelham Manor, N.Y. at 10 a.m. Interment will follow the Mass at Beechwoods Cemetery in New Rochelle, N.Y.
